A little quiet, a little wild, Coron brings me closer to nature, with a slow pace of life that I have long forgotten in the city.
What’s so special about Coron?
Coron – a peaceful island, located in the Northern Palawan Islands, Philippines embraces the diverse ecosystems and extremely strictly preserved coral reefs. A little quiet, a little wild, Coron brings me closer to nature, with a slow pace of life that I have long forgotten in the city.
The first day in Coron, my heart stopped a beat because of the peace here: from the roof, the restaurant to the hotel, everything exuded retro sound. At Coron, using plastic bags that are listed as banned, is too impressive, right?
In the following days, I followed the boat to explore the brilliant magical beaches, Coron proved that there is no need for elaborate photoshop, this place is still as beautiful as a fairyland located in the middle of the world.
El Nido, Palawan – The bustling island has ancient Western beauty
From Coron, I took a high-speed train for 5 hours to get here, the whole journey sometimes got seasick and this will really be a terrible experience for those who are motion sick. From the train, the panoramic view of El Nido is like the ancient town of Northern Europe with colorful high-roofed houses, lying close together against the towering limestone cliffs, and here, I feel the interference. between East Asia and the West.
Contrary to the calm Coron, El Nido is alive and filled with excitement, the breath of modern life crept into each of the alleys. This place is adorned with warm European restaurants, seafood products hugging each other along the beach and the nightlife is extremely bustling.
In the following days, I continued to follow the boat to the island, still the water to the bottom, but El Nido is outstanding with limestone islands, reefs, suitable for those who love to dive and experience deep waters.
